Privacy
Your chats stay yours
AIPorter asks before it sends anything, and collects as little as it can. Read the privacy policy.
Transfers and exports stay local
Moving or saving a chat happens in your browser. We only count that it happened, for your daily limit.
Prompts are not stored
Optimize sends your prompt to our server and an AI provider (Groq, or Google Gemini as a backup) to rewrite it. We don't keep the text.
No ads, no selling data
We make money from paid plans, not from your data. We never sell it or use it for advertising.

Questions, answered
Which AI chat sites does AIPorter work with?
ChatGPT (chatgpt.com), Claude (claude.ai) and Google Gemini (gemini.google.com), in Google Chrome and most Chromium browsers such as Edge and Brave.
Do I need an account?
No. You can try it right after installing. Signing in with your email (a 6-digit code, no password) gives you more exports, keeps your plan across devices and is needed for Pro.
Do I need a paid ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini plan?
No. AIPorter works with free and paid accounts on all three. You need to be signed in to the site you're moving a chat to.
What happens when I transfer a chat?
AIPorter reads the conversation on the page you're on, opens the AI you picked in a new tab and puts the whole conversation into its message box. You read it over and press send. If a site blocks the automatic paste, AIPorter shows a "Paste conversation" button, and the chat is also on your clipboard.
Is a very long conversation a problem?
Each AI limits how much text one message can hold, so the receiving AI may cut off part of a very long chat. Exporting to Markdown first is a good backup.
What does Optimize send, and where?
The text in your message box and, if you allow it, the last few messages for context. It goes to our server, which asks Groq (or Google Gemini as a backup) to rewrite it, then sends the result straight back. We don't save the text.
Can AIPorter read my other tabs or browsing?
No. It only runs on chatgpt.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com, and only reads a conversation when you ask it to transfer, export or optimize.
How do I upgrade, and how do I cancel?
Your plan is linked to your email, and you also get a license key by email. You can cancel anytime, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Is AIPorter made by OpenAI, Anthropic or Google?
No. AIPorter is an independent product and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
